Stara Fužina - The Suha waterfall (by road)

Access to the starting point:
From the Ljubljana - Jesenice motorway, take the Lesce exit and follow the road towards Bled and on to Bohinjska Bistrica. Continue towards Bohinjsko jezero (Ribčev laz), at which you will come to a crossroads where you will turn right towards Stara Fužina. At Stara Fužina, at the crossroads by the chapel, turn sharp left onto the ascending road towards mountain pasture Blato, mountain pasture Vogar and the Voja valley. The road leads on to a place where tolls are collected, and we park here in a pay and display parking lot.

Path description:
From the parking lot, continue along the asphalted road, which soon turns right and climbs for a short distance. After a ten-minute walk, the path leads to a large meadow, where the path to Vogar branches off to the left. We continue along the road, which goes into the wods and soon after leads to a crossroads. Here we turn left towards mountain pasture Blato (the right-hand road goes to Voje). The road then runs along the valley flor, quite gently at first, but after a while it starts to climb. A little higher up, the road bypasses a quarry and enters a slightly narrower valley. Continue following the road and you will soon hear a waterfall. When you see the waterfall at a sharp right turn, leave the road just a few dozen metres further on. At the bend, look for a less well-trodden path, which leads you right under the waterfall within three minutes of walking.
