Stranska vas (Pri Jurčku) - Koča Klobuk

Access to the starting point:
a) From the motorway Ljubljana - Koper take the exit Brezovica, then continue to Dobrova. From the roundabout at Dobrova, continue towards Polhovy Gradec, then turn right after 100 m towards Šentvid. When you reach Stranska vas, turn right at the crossroads in the middle of the village, then after a few 100 m turn slightly left in the direction of A. Škulj and the open farm at Jurček. 50 m further, go left again and then drive to a small parking area located above the Open Door Farm Pri Jurčku (for parking, first ask at the farm).
b) First drive to Horjul, then continue driving towards Dobrova. When you arrive in Dobrava, turn right at the roundabout towards Polhovy Gradec, then turn right after 100 m towards Šentvid. When you reach Stranska vas, turn right at the crossroads in the middle of the village, then after a few 100 m turn slightly left in the direction of A. Škulj and the open farm at Jurček. 50 m further, go left again and then drive to a small parking area located above the Open Door Farm Pri Jurčku (for parking, first ask at the farm).
c) From the Ljubljana bypass, take the Ljubljana - Podutik exit, then continue driving towards Podutik. At the traffic lights near the parish church in Podutik, continue straight ahead and then gradually start climbing towards the Preval preval. After the preval, start descending towards Stranska vas, where at the first crossroads continue on the main road and cross the bridge. At the next crossroads, in the middle of the village (where the road narrows), turn left onto a side road. Drive for a few 100 m and then take a slight left in direction A. Škulj and the open farm at Jurček. 50 m further, go left again, then drive to a small parking area above the open-door farm Pri Jurčku (ask for parking at the farm first).

Path description:
From the marked parking lot, continue on cart track, which climbs over a partly grassy slope. Just above a nearby pasture, cross another tarmac road and follow cart track into lane of a forest. When you enter the forest, go right and walk a few steps out of the forest, along the edge of a large meadow. Climb for a few minutes along the edge of the meadow, which offers a beautiful view that reaches all the way to the Krim and beyond. At the end of the meadow, re-enter the lane of the forest, then continue straight ahead (right Hunting cottage Na Klobuku - the path that goes around the top), following the path that climbs over the initially slightly steeper grassy slope. The path quickly flattens out and leads to a view of the summit.
From the top, continue straight ahead, return to the forest, and after a further walk of some 10 steps, you will arrive at the Hunting Hut at Klobuk.
