Path description:
Description in Croatian:
The path starts from Štrbski Pleso by a crvenom stazom, and leads to the Popradske Pleso lake by a noise and an orderly stazom. On the lake there is a mountain lodge, Chata pri Popradske pleso, which is open all year round. For this part of the trip you will need a good weather conditions.
A floating staza starts at Lake Popradske pleso and leads us through the Mangus valley and takes about half a day. The staza crosses a few paths over streams and waterfalls, is serpentine and well maintained.
Once in the Žabie valley, the crvena staza starts again. On this path, the lakes Malo i Velko Žabie pleso are found, and at the end of them lies the last part of the hill, which is lined with wedges and lances. Then the route follows the steps to the Chata pod Rysymi mountain home. From the time of the first stage to the home, the route takes about six and a half hours.
From home, we turn towards the Vaha saddle. On this part of the route, snow is falling throughout the year. From the saddle to the top, the ascent is somewhat steeper. The peak mountain pasture is surrounded by two historical peaks, both of which are called Rysy. Jedan je u Slovčkoj i visok je 2503m, a drugi je u Polskoj i visok je 2499m te je ujedno najviši vrh Polske. The peaks are 20-ac metres high. From Chata pod Rysymi to the summit it takes about six hours.
