Sveti Benedikt (Kančevci) - Rotunda of St. Nikolaj (Selo)

Access to the starting point:
- From the motorway from Maribor towards Lendava, take the exit for Murska Sobota.
- From Murska Sobota, drive in the direction of Moravske Toplice to the village of Martjanci.
- Towards the end of the village Martjanci turn left, in the direction of the village Prosenjakovci (there is also a signpost at the crossroads: Benedict Kančevci).
- At the end of Sebeborci, turn left again towards Križevci (there is also a signpost at the crossroads: Benedict Kančevci).
- Go through the villages Andrejci and Ivanovci, straight along the main asphalt road.
- At the crossroads, the signpost: Benedict House of Spirituality points to the right.
- At the top of the hill stands the Church of St Benedict of Kančevci.

Path description:
- The trail starts at the Church of St Benedict in Kančevci (358 mnv). Signs direct you from the church, past the Spirituality House and the parking lot, towards the village of Kančevci.
- The first part of the trail leads along an asphalt road (approx. 800 [m]), after which the markings and the PPP (Pomurska planinska pot) sign lead into the forest.
- After a few metres, cross the asphalt road and continue through the forest.
- At the next crossroads turn left, as indicated by the markings on the trees.
- Follow this road and the markings for about 1. 5 kilometres. You will come to a junction with an asphalt road and turn left.
- After a few minutes, you will reach the next junction, where you go straight ahead, again on the dirt road (past the sign: FOREST ROAD).
- Go straight ahead for about 1 kilometre and follow the signs. You will come to a crossroads, orchards and a bench for resting.
- The signs direct you to the right between the orchards and past some houses (Makotrov Breg). The macadam road turns into an asphalt road.
- The path leads us through the forest, and in the distance we can already see the Church of St Nicholas in Sel (ROTUNDA).
- A path leads through meadows to the church.
- Continue towards the Evangelical Church in Sel. At the next crossroads turn left and cross the stream.
- You will come to the next crossroads where you turn right onto the main asphalt road.
- Follow this road and in less than a kilometre you will come to the fire house in Sel and the Evangelical Church in Sel, which is also the destination of this route.
- In the warmer months, the route can also be cycled.
- The whole route is about 7 [km] long, about 1 [h] and 20 [min] walking.
