Topol - Rog

Access to the starting point:
From Medvode, drive to the village Sora, where you will head towards the village Topole (Katarina). When the road leads to the village, park in the large parking lot.

From Dobrova, drive on towards Polhov Gradec. When the sign for Topole points to the right, take this road and follow it to the crossroads in Topol. Continue towards the village Sora, but only as far as the parking lot on the right hand side of the road.

Path description:
From the parking lot, follow the asphalted road up a few dozen steps to the crossroads, where you will see a number of signposts. Continue left in the direction of St Catherine, St James and Jeterbenek. After a few minutes' walk, the relatively steep asphalted road leads to a less well-marked crossroads at the chapel, where we continue right towards St Catherine and Jeterbenk (left St James). The path then leads us past a number of mountain signs to St Catherine's Church, where we also leave the road. Just a few steps before the cemetery walls, continue left and climb slightly along the edge of the walls. At the end of the wall, continue left along the less visible cart track, which is overgrown with grass. After a few dozen steps, leave the cart track and continue along a well-trodden path, which you can then follow to the lookout point.
