Trebež (Jesenice) - Čopov rovt

Access to the starting point:
From the motorway Ljubljana - Jesenice take the exit Lipce (Jesenice East), where you turn right towards Jesenice. At the first semaphorised intersection (Slovenski Javornik settlement) turn right (direction Lj. ) towards Koroška Bela. At the next traffic-lighted junction turn left, and soon turn left again towards Javorníške Rovto. After less than a kilometre you arrive in the village of Trebež (unmarked), which you can identify by a sharp left turn with a crossroads where there is a bridge over the Javornik stream. Park in a suitable place nearby (e. g. in the same settlement, about 100 metres further along the main road in the route Jesenice).

Path description:
From the bridge at the bend, take the side road leading to Javorníšek rovt and walk along it for only a short distance. After a slight left turn, in front of the first house on the right, take the forest road on the left, which climbs to the far left towards the forest. This turns right shortly after a gate (ramp), and a little higher up brings you to a dirt track on the left, which you take. Here you will come across the trail markings to Kozja(e)k - yellow dots and arrows. Cart track soon crosses a small stream and leads to a fork in the track, where we take the right-hand one, and immediately afterwards leave the latter and turn right again, on a marked path which takes us to the crest of the hill. After a short climb, a pleasant path between pine trees and birch trees leads to a crossroads, where you turn right and continue along a more level path to the north. Shortly after a slight left turn, yellow markings direct us perpendicularly to the left (Kozjek), but here we continue for a further 10 metres straight on along the sloping path. When you see a right fork, take it, and after a slight ascent cross the forest logging trail. Continue on the track through mixed, up to mainly deciduous and sometimes thinner forest. From here on, the path climbs gently in places and curves in arcs towards the slope on the left, but soon also flattens out and leads to the slightly overgrown cart track on the left, which you step on and head right towards the nearby fork in the forest road. Here, take the first (left) road, which after a short and gentle climb leads out of the forest onto the grassy Čopov rovt. You will come across a spring daffodil patch at the upper left edge of the glen.
