Ukanc - Planina za Migovcem (via planina Zadnji Vogel)

Access to the starting point:
a) From the motorway Ljubljana - Jesenica take the exit Lesce and follow the road towards Bled, Bohinjska Bistrica, Ribčev Laz and the Vogel ski resort. The route starts at the large parking lot at the bottom station of the lift to Vogel.
b) From Primorska, first drive to Bohinjska Bistrica, then follow the signs for Bohinjsko jezero and Vogel. The route starts at the parking lot at the bottom station of the funicular to Vogel.

Path description:
Below the lower cable car station at Vogel, a forest road (ski slope in winter) is seen, which starts to climb moderately westwards. The path continues for some time climbing gently to moderately, then leads us out of the forest to a scenic slope from where we have a beautiful view of Komarčo, Pršivec and Lake Bohinj.

After this, the road starts to turn more and more to the left and becomes steeper and steeper. Higher up, we continue along a relatively steep ski slope, which is continuously guided by a poorer and rubbly transport-rescue road. After a while, the road or ski slope is transiently laid, and then it climbs steeply again and leads us to a marked crossroads, where we continue to the left in the direction of the Ski Hotel on the Vogel (straight to the lower station of the double-seater Last Vogel).

Just a little further on, we arrive at the next crossroads, where we continue to the right towards mountain pasture Posledni Vogel (slightly to the left Ski Hotel na Voglu and Merjasec Alpine Chalet). Walk along the ski slope for another 10 minutes and the path leads to the cheese cottage at mountain pasture Posledni Vogel.
Continue past the cheese cottage and follow the signs for Komno (the path to Vogel branches off to the left). The path then takes us through dwarf pines into the forest and starts to descend slightly. After a while, a rather overgrown path branches off to the right towards the valley (the path through Žagarjev graben, there are old markings along the way), and we climb moderately up to a marked crossroads.
Continue straight on in the direction of Komna (to the left the Globoko pass), where after a few minutes of further ascent you reach the plateau south of Konjski vrh (1558 m), from where you descend along a pleasant path towards a small valley, where you see an interesting marsh on the left, which turns into a small lake in the event of heavi rain. Continue along the valley for a few minutes, and at an unmarked dip, the path turns slightly to the left and climbs the slope of Rušnati vrh, or the Boundary. Before the slope becomes steeper, the path turns sharply to the right and then climbs cross-country all the way to Konjsko sedlo , which is reached with fine views of Bohinj Migovec (1896 m) and the neighbouring Konjski vrh (1739 m).
From Konjsko sedlo , which is located below the summit of the almost 2000 m high Meje, we start to descend crosswise in the direction of Komna (sharp left Vogel and preval Globoko), and the path leads us along the scree of Bohinj Migovec. Lower down, we arrive in a flatter world, but we are still mostly descending, and during the descent we are accompanied by magnificent views of the Julian Alps. Lower down, the trail takes you past a lookout point less than a minute from the trail, which offers a beautiful view of Lake Bohinj. A few minutes more downhill and you arrive at a crossroads, from which you take a sharp right towards Komna (straight ahead Škrbina).
From the crossroads, descend a little further and you will reach the central part of the undistinguished mountain pasture behind Migovec.
