Varda - Črnokalska Varda

Access to the starting point:
From the Ljubljana - Koper motorway, take the Kozina exit and then continue along the old road towards Koper. When the road starts to descend towards Črnji Kalo, a little after Petrinje, pay attention, because after the 7. 5 km marker you will turn right onto a side road, and after 200 m turn left. From this junction, drive another 200 m and then park in a large asphalt parking lot.
The starting point is suitable if you are coming from Kozina, as it is forbidden to turn onto the side road from the opposite direction. If you are coming from the route of Črni Kalo or Kasteliec, then the starting point Žlebinje is more suitable.

Path description:
On the south-western edge of the parking lot, find an overgrown path, which you can follow gently downhill at first, and then, as the path becomes more distinct, quickly arrive at a small crossroads. Continue slightly left (the right path bypasses the summit) and in a few 10 paces you will reach the relatively scenic summit of Varda.
