Visoko - Kurešček

Access to the starting point:
From the southern Ljubljana ring road, take the exit Ig and follow the road to the above-mentioned place. At Igo turn left towards Kureščko (right Iška vas), then after a few 100m turn right up the road, again towards Kureščko. Continue along the ascending road, which you follow until the next marker for Kurešček directs you to the left (here you leave the main road). Continue to the next crossroads, at which you park in one of several small parking spaces.

Path description:
From the crossroads, continue along the road on the right in the direction of Kureščko. At the point where the road makes the first sharp left turn, you will see cart track on the right hand side, to which we are directed by a mountain sign. From cart track a marked footpath soon branches off to the left, which then quickly leads us to the mountain home at Kureščko. Continue along the road to a large meadow, but only as far as the first cross by the road. Just a few metres before the cross, we leave the road and head right across the meadow on a well-worn path that quickly leads us into the forest, where we see the markings. The path then climbs steeply for a short time and leads us within a few minutes to the church at the top of Kureščko.
The ascent is also possible by road.
