Vršič - Prednje Robičje

Access to the starting point:
From Kranjska Gora drive towards Bovec or vice versa, but only as far as the Vršič pass, where you park.

Path description:
From the parking lot at Vršič, follow the initially poorly marked path leading to Mojstrovka and Sleme. After a few steps up the path leads us to a larger rock on which we see the inscription Mojstrovka on the left. Continue right in the direction of Slemenova špica and the Hanzo trail to Mojstrovka. The way forward is cross-climbed at the foot of Šitna glava, and then we are joined on the right by the path from Erjavčeva hut. There is a short steep climb and the path leads us to the Vratca preval (1807m), where we reach the next crossroads.
Here we continue to the right (left Hanzova trail to Mala Mojstrovka, straight Slemenova špica) along the unmarked path, which first climbs gently over a small grassy slope and then leads us into the steeper world of Robičja. The trail then climbs steeply over a short scrubby slope, then turns slightly to the left, where it leads into a large lane of dwarf pines. Next, we climb relatively steeply along a well-traced but rather overgrown path, which leads us higher up to the ridge of Robičja. Follow this scenic and occasionally quite overgrown ridge path, which retreats to the left side of the more difficult places, all the way to the top of Prednji Robičj.
