Zaboršt (Poljšica pri Bledu) - Planina Rčitno

Access to the starting point:
From the Ljubljana - Jesenice motorway, take the Lesce exit and continue to Bled, Pokljuka and Zgornje Gorje. Once we have passed through the villages of Rečica and Spodnje Gorje, we see a signpost for the village of Poljšica (on the left) by the church in the middle of the village. We go down through the alley between the houses, along the road, and turn first right, then left (the signpost). Soon we find ourselves in the middle of a field, where a winding road leads us, after just under a kilometre, to a junction of four narrow roads, in front of which stands the local signpost "Poljšica". We find a suitable place to park.

Path description:
At the crossroads where the trail starts, turn first right on the road (Zaboršt), where you will come to a fork on the left with the signs Zatrata and Zaboršt. Turn left in the direction of Zatrata and continue uphill on the asphalt road. Soon you will see an equipped climbing wall on your left and continue along the road. When the asphalt ends (bench on the right), at the crossroads continue slightly to the left on the macadam road, which soon leads to the next crossroads (straight meadow), where you turn right into the forest. The forest road, which is slightly worse, turns slightly to the left and descends over a small pass to a forest road coming from the direction of Bled on the left. Continue right along the road, which climbs moderately throughout. A little further on the right you will see a pasture fence with a sign and continue straight ahead along the road. When you come across a bench on the left side of the road again, the marked path Camp Bled - mountain pasture Rčitno - joins from the left. From here on, we follow the markings, which actually lead us along the main forest road. Then, when we overlook the left fork, the road climbs a little more and soon afterwards almost flattens out. Here, we come across a stone trough by the side of the road - the trough under Križi - with an info board. After overlooking another left turn, the path (forest road) climbs again a little steeper. Higher up, where it bends slightly to the left, we come across the signs we have already seen along the road - Riklijeva pot, Bled, Rčitno - (on the right a small hayfield). From here the path almost bends for a while and then climbs again a little further west. Soon the view towards Babje zobu and Galetovec starts to open up on the left, and the road becomes a bit rough for a while and climbs a bit steeper twice more. When it lays down, there are only a few more minutes of leisurely walking to a place where we see a small sign on a tree with the inscription Rčitno, and in a straight direction the forest opens up into the rather large and picturesque mountain pasture Rčitno, on which there are a few neat little cottages, some of them already antique. The path, which branches off to the left somewhere in the middle of the mountain pasture, leads to Slamniki above Bohinjska Belo, and from there on to Galetovec.
