Zavodnje - Andrejev dom na Slemenu

Access to the starting point:
Take the Šoštanj, then follow the signs for Črna na Koroškem. After leaving the valley, we start climbing up a rather winding road leading to the Sleme Pass and Črna na Koroškem, and we follow the above-mentioned road to the settlement of Zavodnje, where we park in a well-maintained parking lot in the centre of the town, near the parish church of St Peter and Paul.

Path description:
At the starting point we see the mountain signs for Uršlja gora and Andrejev dom na Slemenu, which direct us to the main road, which continues towards Slemen. Continue along the main road for a short distance, then at the first left turn after Zavodnje, continue right through the hay fields to the nearby houses. Cross the road at the houses and then continue along the edge of the forest. At a higher level, cross lane of the forest, where cart track appears, and when you leave the forest, the path leads you past a nearby farmhouse. The way ahead leads through a vast meadow, and when you reach the asphalt road, go left in the direction of Andrew's home (Radman's sawmill on the right). Continue along the road for a few 10 metres, then go slightly right on cart track, which turns into a forest. There is a short climb through the forest, and then the path leads out of the forest, where it disappears in the meadows. Continue along the edge of the forest, passing the houses on the underside. Higher up, you reach the main road and walk along it to a crossroads, where signs for Andre's house direct you to the right, after a few steps, and at the next crossroads to the left. The way forward leads past a few more houses, and after the houses the road changes to cart track. Higher up, we cross another narrow asphalt road, and then the path leads us along a fairly overgrown path for a short distance. When we step out of the bushes, a beautiful view opens up on the hayfields towards the Šaleška valley and Uršlja gora, and the path leads us past a few more houses, after which we cross the main road. On the other side of the road, turn right and continue parallel to the main road. There is a short climb through the forest, and then we reach a marked crossroads at the homestead Orel, where the marked path from Topolščice joins us on the left.
Continue to the right towards Uršlja gora and Andrew's home and after 10 minutes of gentle ascent along the wide cart track we reach the above-mentioned mountain home, from which a beautiful view opens up.
