Zgornja Slivnica - Magdalenska gora

Access to the starting point:
From the Ljubljana - Novo mesto motorway, take the exit Grosuplje and Šmarje - Sap and follow the road towards the village Paradišče. A little after the village Paradišče you will come to a crossroads, where you continue to the right in the direction of the village Zgornja Slivnica. Follow the road, which then starts to climb steeply, to the parking lot at the road turnoff to Magdalenska gora (the crossroads is located a few 100m before the village Zgornja Slivna). Slivna is a short distance from the village Zgornja Slivnica.

Path description:
From the parking lot, continue along the road towards Magdalenska gora. After a few minutes of easy walking, the relatively slippery road leads to a crossroads, where you continue along a marked road on the right, which gradually turns into the initially wide cart track. Cart track then goes into the wods, where it climbs steeply past a number of small crosses marking the way of the cross. This slightly steeper path is then followed to the top of Magdalenska gora, where the Church of St Magdalene stands.
