Žiri - Dom na Goropekah (by road)

Access to the starting point:
We drive to Žiri, where we park near the parish church of St Martin.

Path description:
From the church, continue along the main road towards Škofja Loka, and walk along it to the crossroads, where the signs for Goropeke direct you up to the right. The asphalt road leads us higher out of the forest, and then, with beautiful views, we reach the centre of the village Goropeke, where the Church of St John the Baptist is located.
Here, continue to the right (straight on to the Žakelj company and the footpath to Žiri) and continue along the asphalt road. Higher up, a little beyond the sign, the road splits and we take a slightly left road, which leads us past the abandoned ski slope Goropeke, to Dom na Goropekah, which has also been closed for a few years.
