Zvodno - Grmada above Celje (via Suhi potok)

Access to the starting point:
From the motorway Ljubljana - Maribor, take the exit Celje - centre and continue in the direction of Laško and Zidanega Most. The road continues through the centre of Celje and then leads to a roundabout with a water meter. Here, continue "straight ahead" (towards Laško and Zidani Most) and follow the road to the next traffic lights, where you turn left, cross the Savinja River and then turn right at the junction after the bridge. Continue to the underpass under the railway line and a few metres further to the fire station in Zagrad. Continue straight ahead and follow the road through the village, which leads us higher up to a small crossroads, where we see signs for Suhi potok to the right and Hudičev graben to the right. At the crossroads, park near the bus stop.

Path description:
In Zvodno, at the crossroads by the bus station, according to the signposts today, continue to the right in the direction of Pečovniška hut and Grmada (and at the same time in the direction of Suhego potok - there used to be a visible inscription on a concrete cliff), and straight along the asphalt goes the path to Hudičev graben, which can also be used to get to Grmada. Follow the macadam surface or forest road for a few hundred metres. At the marked crossroads, turn left and continue slightly up the forest path or the bed of the Suhego brook. Continue slightly to the left again (to the right you come to an abandoned quarry) and follow the mountain forest path up, passing the quarry on the left. The path is well beaten and marked. It winds pleasantly along the bed of the Dry Brook higher up into the world between Bavč on the left and Grmada on the right. Soon you reach a crossroads, continue right towards Pečovniška hut and Grmada, while the path to the left is Tolsti vrh, Srebotnik, Bavč, etc. The path is slightly narrower further on and crosses the slope of the forest upwards. Reach the meadow part and the Pečovniška hut is in sight. A little further to the left and somewhere to the right up to Pečovniška hut. From the hut, continue along the wide path, which climbs gently at first towards the top of Grmada. After a good five minutes' walk, the path narrows and ascends to a headland from which the path descends gently. A few minutes' walk follows along the vegetated eastern ridge of Grmada, which occasionally offers some views of the valley. The pleasant path then climbs steeply and after a few minutes of further walking leads us to the top, where there is a registration book, a stamp, a large cross recognisable from a distance, a wishing bell and a fantastic view over Celje and the surrounding hills.
