Zvratnice - Bloško jezero

Access to the starting point:
a) From the motorway Ljubljana - Koper take the exit Unec, then follow the road in the direction of Cerknica and further in the direction of Bloška Polica and Nová vas. From Nova vas, turn left in the direction of Velike Lašče, and we will then pass the settlement Nemška vas na Blokah. A little beyond the settlement, you will come to a small crossroads where a slightly narrower asphalt road branches off to the right towards Bloško jezero. Park about 100 m further on in a suitable place along the road.
b) From Ljubljana, drive towards Kočevje or vice versa, but only as far as Velike Lašče, where you turn right (left from Kočevje) in the direction of Nová vas na Blokah. Continue along the road, which is occasionally a bit more winding and also climbing, and which leads past a few small settlements. At Kramplje and after the bridge over the Bloščice there are two turn-offs towards Bloško jezero, but we "overlook" both and continue along the main road. On a slightly longer flat area, before Nemška vas, we see signs for Bloško jezero and Volčje, which direct us left onto a slightly narrower asphalt road. Continue along this road, and park at a suitable roadside parking spot about 100 m further on.

Path description:
From the starting point, continue along the asphalt road, which transitions into a lane spruce forest. When the forest ends, you enter a larger karst meadow, over which you begin to descend gently along the asphalt road. A little further on, we reach the village Volčje, where the marked path from Nová vas joins from the right. Here, continue left in the direction of Bloško jezero, and in a few minutes you will pass the church of St Volbenko, the chapel of St Anthony, a spring with drinking water and a small pond, in the middle of which there is a miniature church, and arrive at Lake Bložsko Jezero (Lake Bložsko Lake).
