Bijele i Samarske stijene is a strict nature reserve and is located in the centre of Velika Capel in Primorska-Goranska and Karlovačko County. The reserve was proclaimed on 24.siječnja 1985. in an area of 1175 ha.
The terrain is characterised by a number of bizarre limestone cliffs. On the stone blocks grows a mixture of fir, spruce and beech.
The highest peak of the Samara Mountains is 1302 m, but to the west of them are the Bijele Mountains with the highest peak of 1335 m. In 1952, the planinari of the PDS "Velebit" from Zagreb signed the "Ratkovo Slopes".
The reserve is home to some of the most beautiful natural phenomena of the Krkonoše region.
Among the flora, the species runolifera, cordgrass, dragušac are found here. In the sacred nature there are living primates such as bears, weasels, puffins and martens.
