Description of mountain:
Caa 3-hour partly circular mountain-climbing scenic route, but also a bit adrenaline-pumping, which leads past a climbing area with three sectors and a number of climbing routes on the natural wall (all relatively difficult, from 5 onwards), the ferrata is located at the very end of the upper section of the climbing area (rated medium difficulty: average B/C, one part C/D) and has four parts across the wall: the sloping left entry, the traverse, the vertical up and the sloping exit to the left. Most of the routes were traced and equipped a decade ago by the legend of Slovenian climbing walls Vili Guček, with the participation and help of members of AO Trbovlje and AO Litija, and this year some of the fixed safety gear were also rebuilt on the ferrata.
The path and the access from Renke have been cleared again this year, the more difficult spots on the ascent path have been secured with rope, and some new green markings (direction signs, green triangles and arrows) have been installed. There are also some yellow arrows and rectangles in the trees along the path in the forest, which have been marked by hunters for their own use... but these don't always point in the right direction in the middle part, so keep your eyes and mind on the 'green' side of this trip. After leaving the ferrata, continue to the top of the rock ribs, to a beautiful viewpoint below the hamlet of Špital. Return to the valley or back to the starting point via the descent trail, which bypasses the ferrata and the upper part of the climbing area, and the middle and lower part of the trail follows the same route.
