Dobogó Kő

Description of peak:
Dobogó Kő is the highest and most visited peak in the Visegradi Hegyseg mountain range north of Budapest. The peak is an exceptional viewpoint. To the north, you can see Dunakanyar, a large bend in the Danube River and the surrounding hills. There is also a hotel and a few restaurants on the summit, and in winter the summit is a ski resort. There is also a museum of the history of Hungarian tourism near the summit.
