Forcella Marmarole

Description of saddle:
Forcella Marmarole is a notch located in the Marmarole mountain group, south-east of the highest peak of Cimon del Froppa. As the peaks in the Marmarole mountain group are relatively inaccessible and there are no marked trails leading to them, the Forcella Marmarole notch is one of the most suitable destinations for non-climbers. However, the accesses to the stumps are not entirely easy and are only suitable for experienced mountaineers. A new modern bivouac, Fratelli Fanton, is planned near the notch. The old, outdated bivouac of the same name is currently located in a lower location.
