Gače

Description of peak:
Gače is a popular excursion point for nature lovers and the only ski centre in Dolenjska (SC Bela), which offers pleasant skiing in winter and pleasant walks on the grassy slopes all year round. From the top, you can enjoy a beautiful view across Dolenjska and northwards to the Kamnik and Savinja Alps.
Gače is an abandoned village that was settled by the Kočevary people more than 600 years ago. The village was without permanent inhabitants before the First World War.
