Description of peak:
Gamsspitzl (also Gamskögerl) is a 2340 m high mountain in the Radstadtska Tauern (Radstädter Tauern) mountain group. The peak is located west of the Zehnerkar Sattel saddle above the Obertauern ski resort. From the top with a cross there is a very nice view of the mountains above the Obertauern Pass, and you can also see the Ankogel and Northern Limestone Alps mountain groups, where the Dachstein mountain group stands out in particular. The proximity of the cable car makes the mountain well visited even in winter.
