Goldeck

Description of peak:
Goldeck is a popular ski resort above Spittal in Austria. From the top, where the cross stands, with the transmitter just below it and the restaurant a little lower down, there is a very nice view of High Tauern, Gurktal Alps, Karawanks, Julian Alps and the nearby part of Gailtaler Alps, where the steep Staff catches our eye. At the top, for 1€, you can use professional binoculars with descriptions of the mountains you see.
