Description of peak:
Gulacs is one of several volcanoes located in the Tapolca Medence region. It has the appearance of a cylindrical pyramid. With the exception of an abandoned quarry and a geodesic tower at the top, the volcano is almost untouched. Locals say it is the same as it was millions of years ago. A path leads to the top of the volcano, which makes a large spiral. The eastern slope is interesting, where the path crosses a basalt scree slope. As the summit is covered by forest, the view is limited to the west.
