Description of peak:
Keeskopf is a scenic peak and a relatively easy to reach (non-glacial) three-thousander in High Tauern (in fine, dry summer weather), on the border between Carinthia and East Tyrol. It is situated somehow in the middle of the numerous three peaks of the Hochschober group, between the elegant Glödis (3206 m) and the highest peak of the group, Petzek (3283 m). From the summit, on which stands a large cross, there is a fine view of the neighbouring lakes and peaks.
