Description of peak:
Matra is a mountain range located 70 km east of Budapest. The two highest peaks in Hungary are Kékestető, which is the highest peak in Hungary at 1014 metres, and the slightly lower Galyatető, which is better known as a ski resort. There are no traditional mountain huts in the Matra hills, only a number of inns and ski hotels.
