Lykavittos

Description of peak:
It is a hill in the centre of Athens, visible from all parts of the city. It can be reached by funicular or on foot, taking about half an hour from the bottom to the top.

It is reached by a paved path with many switchbacks. During the climb itself, we will meet thousands of tourists. There is a restaurant and a church at the top of the hill, as well as numerous stalls selling beer, water and souvenirs. All around you have a beautiful view of Athens and the surrounding peaks.
