Mešenik

Description of peak:
It is a steep, woded and rocky fortress above the Kamnik Bistrica valley and below Kamnik Dedec. It has steep and even precipitous rocky forested slopes on most sides, but it also has at least one weak point that can bring even a casual mountaineer down to its lookout peak. If we descend a little we can see the Dom v Kamniški Bistrica from an interesting perspective almost vertically below us. The summit is as scenic as it is possible to be at this altitude in the midst of giants.
