Description of mountain hut:
Pantokrator is a larger mountain plateau/plain in the north-eastern part of Corfu (also a landscape park there), rising opposite Corfu Bay, above the coastal towns of Pirgi and on to Nisaki in the south. The highest and very prominent peak on this plateau is also called Pantokrator, with a hut/bar and an old Orthodox church with the abandoned buildings of the former monastery, as well as a number of communication towers and antennas, which unfortunately do not adorn this extremely beautiful viewpoint.
There are several paths leading up to the mountain, as well as a rather nice road from different points, so the walk from the coast is usually shortened by car or by bicycle.
