Partisan hospital on Mežakla

The Partisan Hospital at Mežakla is a modest wooden building near Zakopane, erected in December 1942 as a shelter for the wounded. The hospital was also known as the Small Hospital and was the first partisan hospital in Gorenjska. It was characterised by the fact that it was undiscovered by the Germans throughout World War II.
