Description of mountain:
Račka vrata lies in the south-western wall of V.Raduha, which rises steeply to the east of Robanov Kot. It was named after the Račnik farm, which lies below it. It is one of the largest attractions of its kind in Slovenia. They are 30 metres wide and 25 metres high. The pebbly rock gives them their characteristic reddish colour on the western side. This composition makes the arch of the gate very brittle. Despite their size, they are very difficult to find. The only way through is via an unmarked hunting trail, of which there are many in Raduha. In winter, the arch makes huge ice candles. The arch is passable, with the lower part being quite difficult to climb and the upper half being more easily passable. The view from the gate is more modest. From the arch above, however, the view is magnificent. You can see Sv. Duh above Solčava, Ojstrc in Austria, Storžič, Strelovec, Krofička, Ojstrica, Robanov kot, V.Vrh, V.Rogatec, Menina mountain pasture, and above us the mighty wall of Raduha.
