Rifugio Onorio Falier

Description of mountain hut:
Hut Rifugio Onorio Falier is located at an altitude of 2074 metres in the Valle di Ombretta, below the mighty southern wall of the Marmolada. From the hut you have a very nice view towards the Cima Ombretta summit and the aforementioned Marmolada escarpment. The hut was first built in 1914, demolished during the First World War and rebuilt in 1939. The hut has 44 beds and is usually open from 20 June to 20 September. During the period when the hut is closed, a winter rom with 4 beds is available.
