Rifugio Vajolet

Description of mountain hut:
Hut Rifugio Vajolet is located at 2243 metres in the Catinaccio (Rosengarten) mountain group, below the mighty towers of the Torri del Vajolet. The hut has a very fine view of the nearby precipitous peaks, where the towers stand out in particular. The hut has 130 beds and is open in the summer months. The hut was first built in 1897 and has been renovated and enlarged several times since then. In addition to the Vajolet hut, there is a slightly smaller hut, the Rifugio Preuss.
