Rudnica (above Podčetrtek)

Description of peak:
Rudnica is a hill above Podčetrtek and Olimje. It covers an area of 98 ha. At the top of the hill stands a lookout tower called the Tower of Health and Joy on Rudnica. The highest platform of the tower is at an altitude of 656,2 metres above sea level.
The highest point of Rudnica is Plešivec at 682 metres.
On a hike along Rudnica you can admire the Podčetrtek Castle, the Šmarnica Shelter, the Tower of Health and Joy, the Albin's Resting Place, the Hunting Bivouac, the Dragon Lake, the Cottage at the Witch.
On the way back from Olimje to Podčetrtek, you can also visit the Olimje Minorite Monastery, Jelenov ridge, Amon golf course.
