Škrbina (Mežakla)

Description of peak:
Škrbina is a passage on the Mežakla plateau between Zakop and Planski vrh, better known for the beautiful viewpoint in its immediate vicinity, where the Mežakla TV transmitter is located. The locals call this exposed rock edge "Špik" because of its appearance from the valley (it resembles a horse shoe). From here, there are magnificent views down the valley to the point of Jesenice and its surroundings, and a wide panorama of the western Karawanks from Begunjščica to Kepa.
