Description of peak:
Snowdon is a 1,085-metre-high mountain located in the heart of the Snowdonia mountain range in north-west Wales. It is the highest mountain in Snowdonia and the highest mountain in Wales. The highest mountain in the UK is Ben Nevis (1344 m) in Scotland.

A visitor centre, rebuilt in 2009, stands just off the summit and is linked to the valley town of Llanberis by a narrow-gauge railway built in 1896.
