Sulzkogel

Description of mountain:
Sulzkogel is a panoramic, easy, and relatively quickly accessible three-thousander located above the well-known ski center Kühtai in the Sellrain range at the far northwestern edge of the Stubai Alps. Due to its "3,000-factor," high and conveniently accessible starting point, and lack of technical difficulty, the peak sees mass visitation.
As the highest peak in the part of the range rising above Kühtai and the second-most northerly three-thousander in the Stubai Alps, it offers an extensive and enticing panorama, with standout views of the Ötztal Alps to the west, the southern and southeastern Stubai Alps, the Mieming and Karwendel ranges to the north, and toward Kühtai and the reservoir lake above it.
