Description of mountain:
Tolmin gorges are 200 m long and 5 to 10 m wide. On the left bank of the Tolmin river, there is a small karst spring with a thermal spring that averages 19 degrees Celsius. At the confluence of the Tolmin and Zadlaščice rivers, there is also the lowest point of the Triglav National Park, which is 180 m at this point.
In the vicinity of Tolmin gorges, there is also a small trough of the Zadlaščice River, where a triangular-shaped rock can be seen wedged in the ground. Because the rock resembles a bear's head, it has been given the name Bear's Head.
Slightly above the Tolmin and Zadlaščice riverbeds, there is also the Zadlaška or Dante's Cave, which has a network of tunnels 1140 m long.
