Žleb (Suho ruševje)

Description of saddle:
Žleb above Suho ruševje is located between Palec and Pautz on the border ridge with Austria. It is popular with touring skiers as it offers a pleasant, not to steep, downhill skiing. From the couloir there is a nice view on the nearby walls of Vertatscha, Pautz and Palec. To the south, Begunjščica with its northern slopes can be seen. From Žleb you can continue to Selenitza, which is a challenging unmarked route, or Pautz, which is also a challenging route. Alternatively, you can take the very difficult trackless route along the Ipsilon ravine to Vrtača.
