Zuc della Guardia

Description of peak:
Zuc della Guardia is a 1911 m high mountain in Carnic Alps, Itali. Most travellers visit it when returning from the neighbouring Zermula (2143 m), passing by (or from) the nearby Monte Pizzul (1985 m).
The mountain is still silently guarded by mountain fortifications and tunnels built during World War I.
The Ferrata degli Alpini, a protected climbing route, leads up the mountain in the last part before the summit. A cross stands at the top. The entry boklet is located in the middle of the climbing section between two sections of ropes.
