In Switzerland on the border with Italy, in the Cervino group (Pennine Alps), an extremely panoramic mountain rises to 4164 m with a spectacular snowy ridge.
This is Breithorn (Western), which offers the possibility of a high-altitude route that can be undertaken from Italy (with longer duration and greater elevation gain) or from Switzerland.
