Club Andino Leones de Montaña outing to Cerro Diablo (4190 m asl), from October 27 to 29, 2017.
We departed from the Lo Valdés sector on Friday morning the 27th to set up our base camp at the shelter of that valley. In the early hours of Saturday we began our ascent to the yellow ridge, then the traverse to the pass and finally the summit push via the gully. 12 participants reached the summit after an extensive day of more than 10 hours, then returned to base camp on Saturday night the 28th. On Sunday the 29th we returned to Santiago.
