Board the train in Munich in the evening and arrive in Rome in the morning: Alexandra Kosma has tested this night train route for us. (More episodes in the ARD Mediathek: https://1.ard.de/nachtzug-durch-europa3?yt=t ). At Munich main station, it's into the Nightjet of the Austrian Federal Railways. The route goes from Germany to Villach in Austria, then across the Italian border via Florence to the destination Rome.
