Description:
video dedicated to the ascent of Grande Sassière from the French side. Long but definitely pleasant and interesting ascent. Ascended from Le Saut via the west slope and ridge (French normal route). A great mountain that climbs easily, as aside from a few short and easy climbing steps on rocks and a simple glacier section there are no difficulties. Splendid day and spectacular panorama from the summit! Difficulty: F. Total elevation gain: 1491 m. Participants: Stelvio Lanzone and Valerio Onofri. Trip on 24-9-2005.
