Short but nice tour to Kumlehova glava and Visoki Mavrinc. Easy orientation but walk very carefully due to many icy sections and forest covered with needles and leaves. More at: https://www.gore-ljudje.net/novosti/144658/

1.7.... V. Mavrinc and Kumlehova glava, nice on both peaks. Views beautiful. Last bend before Mavrinc sandy and very slippery. Descent from Kumlehova glava peak slippery too, roots in between. Watch every step. Mornings beautiful and mountains wonderful. nasmeh

After some years again on Saturday to Kumlehova glava, this time from second bend of Vršič road, Za Kumlehom. At start on skid trail, then nice forest path, found three boletus. After 600 height meters at saddle and walked to Visoki Mavrinc. At cross photo, views super... then another 300 steeper height meters to Kumlehova glava. Midway one ledge, where caution needed, but can hold onto bushes. No wonder our little dog years ago paused there wondering her own courage. At top in beautiful weather again unforgettable views... Špik, Škrlatica, Prisank. Then Robičje, Šitna glava, Mojstrovka and Jalovec. Ciprnik, behind Dobrač... to Vošca and Kepe. Admired all around, where we have been, where we will go. Did one section also on Planica-Pokljuka path. In hot day stop at Mihov dom fitted well, shared some goodies. Then Kekčeva dežela, they properly scared us, hope children enjoyed. And final thought at Aljaž. All except two were on Kumlehova glava first time, worth visiting.

The path is wet and slippery due to daily rain. Scree helps in both directions. At the top it's a pleasure, mists were dancing around the peaks and putting on a show for me, you see it you don't. Nice at Kumlehova glava, only the steepness is tough. Mavrinc is easier to reach and better visited too.. Nice. nasmeh

Today the path to the top of Kumlehova glava was wet and very slippery. There were quite a few hikers on the top. Then also to nearby Visoki Mavrinc, to enjoy beautiful views.

Visoki Mavrinc and to Kumlehova glava, struggled on certain sections to get over snow patches, still sinking in, about 3/4 is bare. Now that I've trampled up and down it's hard to miss velik nasmeh
