In the early morning I drive by car to Trbiž, from there by bike on the bike path to Ugovizza, where I leave the bike path and then immediately up the hill above Ugovizza, at the top almost to the end of the valley by the hut locanda al camoscio (gams) I turn left steeply uphill to Forcelle fontane frede; that was also the hardest part of today's tour. Anyway, it's a 3800m long climb, extremely steep as it has as much as 557m elevation gain; with a bit of grit you can cycle it (steepest over 30 percent). From there I descend a couple of km to the stream and then back uphill to today's goal, the 1708m high Poludnig pasture. Views super, below you can also see Egger lake and Egger pasture. From the pasture then I descend 8km to pasture Dellacher (whole settlement) 1365m and then to the aforementioned lake and Egger pasture 1430m. Really exceptionally nice, I recommend for some Sunday trip. From the pasture I descend 8 km down the valley to village Moderndorf, at the end of the village to an exceptionally nice bike track which leads to 13km distant Vorderberg. Unfortunately only for mountain bikes because of the extremely smooth surface as there are 10km macadam. I continue to Feistritzer an der Gail (Bistrica ob Zili), continue to the road leading towards Villach (Beljak) and then to Trbiž on the bike path. Tour exceptionally beautiful and interesting but quite demanding; need quite some fitness and ridden km as in the end 92km accumulated.
