Access to the starting point:
The starting point is on the road Ptuj - Trakoščan. More precisely between the border crossings Leskovec and Cvetlin at the top of the pass below the church.
Path description:
Most of the route is on Croatian territory, so documents are compulsory.
From the parking lot, climb the stairs and follow the marked path between the vineyards. At the second crossroads, continue straight ahead, along the road towards the forest (photo), then continue along the forest path and you will come back to the road from Cvetlin, where the path quickly turns off to the right (there is a signpost along the way, so you can't miss the turn-off). Continue along the forest path, which slowly climbs up to Gorica, where there are the remains of an unfinished church. Immediately afterwards, turn left, back into the forest along the "Janezevo staza". In winter there is a risk of slipping in the frozen snow. Further on, we can see our destination from the forest through the trees.
From the top of the hill you have a beautiful view of the surrounding area.
