Hunting cottage Na Brežičih - Kocbekov dom na Korošici (via Deska)

Access to the starting point:
First drive to Luče, then continue into the Podvolovjek valley (direction Kamnik and Kranjski Rak). At the road marker between 11 and 11. 5 km, you will come to a small crossroads where the road to the right branches off towards Farmer Planinšek and the mountains Podveža, Ravne and Vodole (the branch is marked). Take this initially still asphalted road and follow it at the crossroads in the route mountain pasture Podveža. After a relatively long and in the upper part also worse macadam road we will reach the parking lot under mountain pasture Podveža (there is a ramp and many mountain signs by the parking lot), and we continue driving for another 500 m, or to the place where the road ends. Park in a suitable space at the end of the road (there is a small hunting lodge at the end of the road).
From Kamnik, drive towards the Črnivec Pass, but only as far as the crossroads where the road to Kranjski Rak turns sharp left (the turn-off is marked and is located only 500 m before the pass). At the crossroads at Kranjski Rak, continue straight ahead on the main road, which starts descending into the Podvolovjek valley. In the valley, just 100 m after the Gams bar, you will reach a crossroads where the road to the left branches off towards the farmer Planinšek and the mountains Podveža, Ravne and Vodole (the branch is marked). Continue following the above description.

Path description:
From the end of the road, walk to the hunting lodge, then continue slightly left into the forest, where you will quickly come out on a beautiful hunting trail. After a few steps, the path leads to an undistinguished ridge, where the path turns to the right. The ascent continues through the forest, along a path that continues along and along the ridge from which we occasionally get a nice view of Velika planina, Konja and Rzenik. The path continues to lane of dwarf pines, where we soon come to a less obvious crossroads. Continue slightly right (slightly left under the walls of Lastovec and Deska) along the path which quickly leads from dwarf pines to the grassy slopes. The path climbs higher along the edge of the burnt dwarf pines (fire in 2003) and gently descends higher up. Continue around the top of Lastovec on the right (the climb to Lastovec is only a few 10 m off the path, but can be ascended by an easier trackless route), and the path starts to climb a little more steeply after this. Higher up, the path, from which we have increasingly beautiful views, descends for a short time, and then in a moderate climb, after a few minutes of further walking, leads us to the top of Deska, the top of which is recognised by a large man.
From Deska we continue along the gently sloping north-east ridge of Deska, following a less visible path, which is soon joined from the right by the path with mountain pasture Podvežak. Continue slightly left (straight Tolsti vrh) along the path, which gradually starts to descend more steeply. Lower down, the path leads into a small valley, along and along which you then descend to the Watercourse Lake.
From the lake, walk to the nearby shepherd's hut, then climb the steep slope above the hut, where you will quickly reach the marked path leading out of the Lučka Bela valley. Follow the path down to a marked crossroads, then continue to the right in the direction of Korošice. The path continues on a moderate slope over the slopes, which are overloked and partly covered with dwarf pines. Next, the path from the Presedljaj saddle joins us from the left, and we continue straight along the rugged path, along which we soon see the signs for Lučki Dedec (the turnoff is just a few minutes before the Prag Pass). From Praga, continue straight ahead and follow a wide path that begins to descend across to the green plain of Korošice. After 10 minutes of descending, the path flattens out and you are only a few steps of easy walking away from Kocbek's home.
