Kropa (Srednji Konec) - Razpok (via Vreteno and higher on the road)

Access to the starting point:
a) From Ljubljana, take the Gorenjska motorway to Jesenice, and follow it to the Ljubelj (Podnart) exit. Continue on the expressway towards Ljubelj, and we turn right at the first exit, where we quickly reach a roundabout, from which we continue in the direction of Podnart and Kropa. The road then takes us through an underpass under the motorway and leads us a little further on to a junction where we join the road from Nakleg. Here we turn right and continue along the road, which gradually starts to descend. In the middle of the descent we come to a crossroads where we turn sharp left (towards Kropa) and then immediately after the bridge over the Sava River we turn left again (right Podnart). Continue along the Lipnica river and follow the road to the crossroads where the road to Kamna Gorica branches off to the right. Here, turn left towards Kropa and follow the road to the company (Novi Plamen), where you turn right. The road then passes by the factory and crosses the bridge after it, where you come to a crossroads. Turn sharp left and follow the road to the parking lot of the parish church of St. Lenart in Kropa.

b) From the Gorenjska direction, leave the motorway towards Ljubljana at the Brezje exit and follow the signs towards Kropa. When you reach Kropa, follow the road to the company (Novi Plamen), where you turn right. The road then goes alongside the factory and crosses the bridge after it, where you come to a crossroads. Here, take a sharp left and follow the road to the parking lot of the parish church of St. Lenart in Kropa.

Path description:
From the parking lot of the church and the cemetery, walk above the parking lot, where you can see the mountain markers for Vodiška mountain pasture slightly to the right of the NOB memorial.

Take the slightly left path, which is slightly shorter than the right one and also a little more difficult.

At the beginning, follow cart track, which initially offers some views of Kropa, then the path turns into the forest, through which you continue to climb along cart track. During the cross-climb, we cross some ravines, and higher up we reach a torrential gully, where the path becomes quite steep and technically a bit more difficult. Using the unusual fixed safety gear, climb one step higher, where you turn right and climb steeply up the steps. After this part, the path becomes easier, but still climbs steeply, and when you reach the Vreteno ridge, you join the path that leads past the Slovenian Furnace (the Slovenian Furnace is the oldest preserved smelting furnace in Slovenia, built in the 14th century).

Continue in the direction of Vodice, where you pass a small cross, and the trail continues to be quite steep. Higher up, the path takes you past a small spring, and above it, we get some views. There is a short fenced part of the path, and then the path is laid and leads us to the edge of Jelovica, and a few steps further on to the lower part of the Vodiška mountain pasture. A short walk along mountain pasture and we reach the Partisan Home on Vodiška mountain pasture.
Go around the house on the left, immediately after it go right and continue walking on the dirt road. The road quickly turns into a forest, through which it initially continues without any major changes in elevation, then begins to descend gently, and at the crossroads continue straight ahead, the larger crossroads are marked, and there keep to the direction for the Goška Ravan Mountain Lodge. Follow this road through the forest all the way to Razpoko, all the way to the huts at Razpoko, where a beautiful view of the Karavanke Mountains opens up from the edge of the plateau.
