Murova (Jesenice) - Ski lodge Črni vrh (Murova - Črni vrh - Planina pod Golico)

Access to the starting point:
From the motorway, take the Jesenice East exit, then continue through Lipce. When you arrive in Jesenice, continue along the main road to the Health Centre (on the right side of the main road). Leave your car nearby and walk towards Murava.

Path description:
After about 300 m of walking along the Murova, climb the stairs on the left side of the narrow road (just after the water trough). At the top of the stairs, head left and walk for about 20 m, then turn sharp right and follow the footpath across Pejce. Follow the signs for the "Old Ore Trail" along the way. Soon you will come to a chapel and after 50 m turn sharp right again and continue climbing up to Zgornji Pejce. Then follow the signs and soon you will come to the path leading to Prihode. The path also crosses a few streams, over which wooden footbridges have been made. As soon as you reach Prihode, turn right onto the macadam path, which also takes you past a small homestead. You then come to another gravel path and continue walking along this path for about 800 m, keeping to the right. Later, there is also a small house on the right side of the road and shortly afterwards the path splits into 2 parts.
Continue on the left-hand side (starting to climb uphill) for about 500 m. Keep to the right side of the road and follow the macadam for about 1 km. At an old (partly supported) shed, turn sharp left and keep climbing. After this you will come to a low fence, which you can go around or climb over. A sign warns you not to walk on the grass, so continue on the macadam. Keep to the left. Later, cross another fence and a stream. 50 m after that, we arrive at Črni vrh.

From there you can continue to Španov vrh (1364 m above sea level), or if you want to return to the valley, go down past the middle station of the cable car and follow the dirt road which leads to Mountain pasture pod Golico (to the PGD). From there you can follow the asphalted road down to Jesenice, or you can walk to Prihodi, then turn left just before the bus station and keep to the left side of the road to get back to the path you climbed from Jesenice.

If you go in winter, it can snow up to half a metre (as you can see in the pictures, but otherwise it depends on the winter), so leggings, a hat and gloves are a must, and I also recommend snowshoes, as the road (especially back to the valley) can be icy.
